A. Permit Required: No person shall connect any water main extensions to the village waterworks system without first making application for a permit therefor and issuance of a permit for such connection by the corporate authorities of the village. (1978 Code § 9-5-12-1)
B. Inspections: No permit required by this section shall be granted unless the village engineer or director of public works shall inspect all proposed connections and extensions and advise the village authorities as to the conformity of the proposed connections and extensions with the existing system and applicable codes and regulations of the village.
