A. Permit Required: Upon due application to the village parks, recreation and facilities department, various village fields may be reserved by qualified individuals/organizations for such activities permitted. Such permits shall impose any restrictions/fee as may be necessary to safeguard the park and individuals using the park. Lighted sports fields can be used by permit only. (Ord. 96-82, 9-5-1996)
B. Insurance Required: Every applicant shall file a policy of insurance in which the village, its officials, agents and employees, are named insured against any and all claims arising through the use of village parks. In lieu of filing the policy of insurance, a certificate evidencing the issuance of such insurance, executed by a duly authorized agent, servant or employee of the carrier, may be so filed; provided, that such issuance shall be written by an insurance carrier authorized to conduct such business in the state. C. Revocation Of Permit: The permit of any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter may be revoked by the president and village board of trustees. (1978 Code § 8-1-3; amd. 2011 Code)
