A. Citation And Fine:
1. Any person violating any provision of this chapter relating to the purchase and display of an annual vehicle license for a vehicle registered with the Illinois secretary of state to an address within the village shall immediately be issued a citation by the village police department.
2. The village clerk may also request the village police department issue a citation.
3. The fine for a citation issued pursuant to this chapter shall be fifty dollars ($50.00), plus proof that the subject license has been obtained as herein required. (Ord. 2009-49, 6-4-2009)
B. Settlement And Compromise Of Violations: Any person accused of violating any provision of this chapter relating to the purchase and display of an annual vehicle license shall be allowed to settle and compromise such violation in the manner provided in section 7-7-13 of this title, plus proof that the subject license has been obtained and has been displayed as herein required.
