The term "noxious weeds", as used in this chapter, shall be held to include all rank vegetable growths which exhale unpleasant or noxious odors and high and rank vegetable growths that may conceal filthy deposits. The term shall also include any plant that adds its influence in bringing on hay fever and all plants declared by state law to come under the heading "weeds" and shall also include thistles of all kinds, cockleburs, yellow dock, Indian mallow, jimsonweed, ragweed, sweet clover, wild mustard (including black mustard), burdock, smartweed, sow thistle, tumbleweed, poison ivy and milkweed and all weeds and grass exceeding eight inches (8") in height.
