5-1A-4: SUSPENSION OR REVOCATION OF LICENSE:
Any food dealer's license may be suspended or revoked by the village president and board of trustees for repeated violations of the provisions of this article, or for any continued violation of the county food sanitation ordinance or county health department food handling regulations, or for any violation of any other provision of this code relating to the conduct of the business, the condition of the premises, the articles sold or the license required. In the event a license is suspended, the holder of the license shall request an inspection prior to the end of the suspension period, such inspection to be made by the director of community development. If such inspection shows that such violation or violations have been removed or cured, a suspension order shall be terminated on that date. If such inspection shows that such violations have not been removed or cured, then such license may be revoked by the village president and board of trustees. (1978 Code § 3-8-2; amd. 2011 Code)
