ORDINANCE NO. 2024 - 28

AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND SECTION 4-4-2 ENTITLED “LICENSE
FEES AND BONDS” OF CHAPTER 4 ENTITLED “BUILDING CONTRACTORS”
OF TITLE 4 ENTITLED “BUSINESS AND LICENSE REGULATIONS” OF THE

VILLAGE CODE OF THE VILLAGE OF GLENDALE HEIGHTS, ILLINOIS

WHEREAS, the Village of Glendale Heights deems it necessary and desirable to amend Section 4-4-2 entitled “License Fees And Bonds” of Chapter 4 entitled “Building Contractors” of Title 4 entitled “Business and License Regulations” of the Glendale Heights Village Code.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Glendale Heights, DuPage County, Illinois, as follows:

   Section 1:   That Section 4-4-2 entitled “License Fees and Bonds” of Chapter 4 entitled “Building Contractors” of Title 4 entitled “Business and License Regulations” of the Village Code of the Village of Glendale Heights, Illinois, is amended as follows:

   By amending Section 4-4-2 entitled “License Fees and Bonds” to read as follows:

“SECTION 4-4-2: REGISTRATION FEES AND BONDS:

Registration fee for all Contractors (except plumbing, roofing, electric and
fire protection):    $75.00

Surety Bond   $20,000.00”

Section 2:   That this Ordinance shall be in full force and effect on May 1, 2024, and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form as provided by law.
