4-3-25: BRINGING LIQUOR INTO CERTAIN PREMISES:
   A.   It shall be unlawful for any person to bring, carry, transport, or otherwise convey alcoholic liquor into a restaurant or eating establishment, dance club, commercial club or lodge, pub, tavern, brewery, bar, dance hall, pool hall, bowling alley, skating rink, commercial swimming pool, indoor amusement facility, commercial clubhouse, game room, recreational facility, health club, theater, miniature golf facility, outdoor entertainment facility, adult entertainment cabaret, hookah lounge, or any similar establishment to those listed above ("establishments") for purpose of consumption on the premises of said establishments regardless of whether the alcoholic liquor is consumed with a meal or regardless of whether the establishment in question possesses a village retail local liquor license.    B.   It shall be further unlawful for the owner, operator, manager, or agent of said establishments, whether or not said establishments possess a village retail local liquor license, to allow or otherwise permit any person to bring, carry, transport or otherwise convey alcoholic liquor into said establishments for the purpose of consuming the alcoholic liquor on the premises.    C.   Any person violating the provisions of this section shall, upon conviction for the offense, be fined an amount not less than fifty dollars ($50.00) nor more than one thousand dollars ($1,000.00), and each person found to have violated the provisions of this section shall constitute a separate offense.    D.   The provisions of this section shall not apply to:
      1.   Distributors who deliver alcoholic liquor to a local retail liquor licensee for the purpose of retail sale as otherwise permitted by the Illinois liquor control act and this chapter.
      2.   Premises that are owned, operated, managed, or maintained by a unit of local government and that possess a valid village retail local liquor license. (Ord. 2007-124, 12-6-2007)
