The planning and zoning commission may, with the approval of the village president and board of trustees, employ necessary help whose salaries, wages and other necessary expenses shall be provided in the appropriations ordinance of the village. If the planning and zoning commission shall deem it advisable to secure technical advice or service, it may be done upon authority from the village president and board of trustees.
