A planning and zoning commission for the village is hereby created. Said planning and zoning commission shall consist of seven (7) members who shall be residents of the village and who shall be appointed by the village president, with the advice and consent of the board of trustees, on the basis of their particular fitness for duty on the planning and zoning commission.
