10-18-4: CONSTRUCTION OF MOBILE HOMES:
   A.   Plumbing, Heating And Electrical Standards:
      1.   Each trailer coach occupied as a dwelling unit in the village after December 22, 1970, shall meet the minimum standards for plumbing, heating and electrical systems as defined by the American Standards Association project A119.1, approved March 12, 1963, as revised periodically. Trailer coaches that display the official seal and register number of the Mobile Home Manufacturers Association and the Trailer Coach Association will be considered to comply with the American Standards Association project A119.1. The minimum standards for plumbing, heating and electrical systems, as defined by said American Standards Association project A119.1, as amended and revised periodically, are hereby made a part of and incorporated by reference into this chapter.       2.   Trailer coaches that do not meet the minimum standards for plumbing, heating and electrical systems established under subsection A1 of this section will not be issued a certificate of use and occupancy by the director of community development. (1978 Code § 4-7-1-5; amd. 2011 Code)
   B.   Self-Contained Lavatory And Bath Facilities: Trailer coaches which do not have a toilet and bath or shower facilities shall not be allowed within any trailer coach park located in the village.
   C.   Additions To Trailer Coaches And Accessory Structures: No permanent or semipermanent structure shall be affixed to any trailer coach as an addition to such trailer coach, nor shall any accessory structure be permitted on any trailer coach lot, except as otherwise permitted in this chapter. The prohibition herein against any addition or accessory to a trailer coach shall not apply to a canopy or awning designed for use with a trailer coach, nor to any expansion unit or accessory structure specifically manufactured for trailer coaches.
