Malicious interference with a fire hydrant or other water regulator with intent to cause transmission of water is violative of R.C. § 4933.22. Anyone engaged in such activity within the municipality will be subject to the provisions of R.C. § 4933.22 and the applicable penalty provisions of R.C. § 4933.99.
