§ 51.08 TAPPING CHARGES.
   (A)   Charges for all taps shall be set by ordinance. Copies of these charges shall be on file with the office of the Village Clerk.
   (B)   All taps must be installed by a qualified contractor. The shutoff is made at the main in the street. The service line from the main into the property shall be the responsibility of the customer. The municipality will arrange for such tap to be made and a meter shall be ordered at the expense of the customer.
   (C)   If a two-inch tap is to be made with corporation and curb stop, the line to be tapped must be at least a 1/8-inch line. The hole to be drilled for such a tap cannot be drilled in a smaller size line.
   (D)   All taps over two inches shall be made with sleeve and valve and shutoff in the street at the main.
   (E)   All income and revenue derived from or obtained from the tap fees herein established shall be placed in the water enterprise capital fund and may be transferred by ordinance to cover water debt service on water improvements.
