§ 97.37 BITUMINOUS RESURFACING STREETS IN CITY.
   Level course shall be by the ton. One inch of surfacing shall be also by the ton. All private entrances shall be 18-inch lift or any additional to be directed by the City Engineer or the Superintendent of Street and Sanitation Department. Paving where existing curb and gutter is to be beveled back six to eight inches. Unsurfaced traffic-bound streets shall be four inches dense grade and two inches surfacing. All work shall be supervised by the City Engineer and Superintendent of Street and Sanitation Department. All dense grade shall be bid by the ton. Tack oil shall be SSIH and furnished by the contractor. All work shall be completed within 90 days of the date of work order, unless an extension of time is given by City Council. All new streets in heavy traffic areas or in an industrial area shall be constructed by using four inches of dense grade, two inches of binder and one inch of surfacing. All new streets in residential areas shall be six inches of dense grade and two inches of surfacing. All work and material shall be to state highway standards.
