§ 51.060 REQUIREMENTS FOR WATER LINES.
   The public policy of the city shall be that all water lines installed for the purpose of providing a water distribution system in the city shall be not less than six inches in diameter. All such new systems shall be required to have fire hydrants located not more than 800 feet apart and all of the locations shall be approved by the Chief of the Fire Department prior to their installation. This approval shall be a prerequisite to final plat approval by the Joint City-County Planning Commission.
