(A) Training and experience. A weighperson operator shall have the following training and experience:
(1) Graduation from an accredited high school; and
(2) Certification by the appropriate state environmental agency is desirable.
(B) Special knowledge, skills and abilities. A weighperson operator shall have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
(1) Knowledge of the rules and regulations governing landfill operations;
(2) Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions;
(3) Considerable knowledge of modern office practices and procedures;
(4) Considerable knowledge of computer equipment;
(5) Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with other employees and the general public;
(6) Accuracy;
(7) Thoroughness;
(8) Tact;
(9) Integrity;
(10) Ability to pass a physical examination to establish capacity of performing duties, with any reasonable accommodation; and
(11) Possession of a valid drivers license as issued by the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
