(a) General Misdemeanor Classifications. Whoever violates any provision of this Traffic Code for which violation no penalty is otherwise provided, is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.

(b) Penalties. Whoever is convicted of or pleads guilty to a violation of this Traffic Code shall be imprisoned for a definite term or fined, or both, which term of imprisonment and fine shall be fixed by the court as provided in this section.

(c) Parking Violations.
(1) Parking meter violations. A courtesy fine of twenty-five cents (25¢) is hereby established for any parking meter violation in the City if the fine is paid within twenty-four hours after being incurred. In the event the person getting the ticket or citation for any parking meter violation fails to pay such courtesy fine within twenty-four hours of the violation, a parking meter violation shall bear a fine of one dollar ($1.00).
(2) Parking violations other than parking meter. Whoever violates any parking ordinance in Chapter 351
shall be fined five dollars ($5.00) for a first offense and ten dollars ($10.00) for each subsequent offense. A subsequent offense for an illegally parked vehicle not moved after the first citation, shall occur after twenty-four hours.
