The non-profit organization shall be primarily responsible for maintenance, upkeep, and servicing of the donation box. Each donation box shall be emptied of donated goods in a timely manner to prevent overflow of the goods from the Donation Box. However, in the event the non- profit organization fails to adequately maintain and service the donation box, then property owner of the property where the donation box is placed shall be responsible for maintenance and service. In the event that the donation box is not properly maintained and serviced, the Zoning or Building Inspector may issue a notice of violation of this Chapter and order the immediate removal of the donation box. Each box shall clearly state the main address and telephone number of the charity to which the donated items will benefit. (Ord. 8016-15. Passed 3-23-15.)
