Before entering upon the discharge of his duties, the Electrical Inspector shall file a bond in the sum of one thousand dollars ($1,000) payable to the City. The bond is to be approved by the Mayor and conditioned upon the faithful performance of his duties. The Electrical Inspector shall also take and subscribe an oath which, together with a certificate of his appointment, shall be filed with the City Auditor.
