(a) The position of City Electrical Inspector is hereby created.
(b) The Electrical Inspector shall be a resident of the City of Girard for one year prior to the appointment. The Inspector shall have an electrical contractor’s license issued by the City of Girard and shall have a certificate of competency as an electrical safety inspector issued by the State of Ohio Department of Industrial Relations Board of Building Standards.
(c) The City Electrical Inspector shall issue all electrical permits and make all necessary electrical inspections and perform such other duties as may be specified by the Board of Examiners and as otherwise provided for by Section 1345.06.
