Any sign put into place with or without a permit, but not in compliance with the provisions of this chapter shall be directed to be removed by the Zoning Inspector. Should such sign not be removed within seventy-two hours after the property owner, tenant, or sign owner is so informed of the violation, said sign shall be removed at the expense of the owner.
