4-4-1: DEFINITION:

As used in this chapter, the term "open burning" means the combustion of any matter whatsoever out of doors, whether or not confined to a barrel or other container, but shall not include outdoor food preparation using a barbecue grill or other such similar device. (Ord. 469, 2-22-2001)
