1303.01 1981 EDITION ADOPTED.
   Pursuant to Charter Section 2.06 , there is hereby adopted, for the purpose of the practical safeguarding of persons, buildings and dwellings and their contents from hazards arising from the use of electricity for light, heat, power, radio, signaling and for other purposes, that certain code known as the National Electrical Code, being particularly the 1984 edition thereof, recommended by the National Fire Protection Association, save and except such portions as are hereinafter modified, amended or deleted.
1303.02 FILE AND DISTRIBUTION COPIES.
   A complete copy of the National Electrical Code, as adopted in Section 1303.01, is on file with the Municipal Clerk for inspection by the public and copies shall be available for distribution to the public at a reasonable price.
1303.03 CONFLICT OF LAWS.
   In the event of any conflict between the requirements of the National Electrical Code and those of any other codes adopted by the City, or any City ordinances, that requirement which establishes the higher or stricter standard shall prevail.
