The BOCA Basic/National Fire Prevention Code as adopted herein is modified by the enactment, amendment or deletion of the following provisions as respectively indicated, which changes are hereby adopted as set forth herein:
F-104.1 Appeals. Appeals to Council may be taken by any person aggrieved by the denial or revocation of any permit or any decision or interpretation of the Fire Chief made under the provisions of this Code. Appeals shall be filed with the Clerk of Council within twenty days of the action or decision of the Fire Chief. The Fire Chief shall forthwith transmit to Council, all the papers constituting the record upon which the action appealed from was taken. Council shall conduct a hearing within thirty days of receipt of notice of appeal and shall render a decision within thirty days after conclusion of the hearing and may reverse, affirm or modify any decision of the Fire Chief. All meetings held herein shall be public and all decisions rendered herein shall be in writing.
