911.09 pH.
   “pH” means the logarithm of the reciprocal of the weight of hydrogen ions in grams per liter of solution.
911.10 SANITARY SEWAGE.
   “Sanitary sewage” means domestic wastes contributed by reason of human occupancy.
911.11 SEWER.
   “Sewer” means a pipe or conduit for carrying municipal wastes.
   (a)   “Building sewer” means the extension from the building drain to a public sewer or other place of disposal.
   (b)   “Combined sewer” means a sewer receiving both surface runoff and municipal wastes.
   (c)   “Public sewer” means a sewer in which all owners of abutting properties have equal rights and which is controlled by public authority.
   (d)   “Sanitary sewer” means a sewer which carries municipal wastes and to which storm, surface and ground waters are not intentionally admitted.
   (e)   “Storm sewer” or “storm drain” means a sewer which carries storm and surface waters and drainage but excludes municipal wastes.
911.12 SUPERINTENDENT.
   “Superintendent” means the Street Commissioner of the Village or a representative so authorized by the Board of Trustees of Public Affairs to assume the duties for such Street Commissioner as set forth in this Title Three - Public and Private Sanitary Sewers.
911.13 SUSPENDED SOLIDS.
   “Suspended solids” means solids that either float on the surface of or are in suspension in water, municipal wastes or other liquids and which are removable by laboratory filtering.
