266.02 CLASSIFIED AND UNCLASSIFIED SERVICE.

(a) Full-time certified sworn personnel of the Police Department shall be in the classified civil service, except for the Police Chief and the Police Captain. Appointment to the classified civil service shall be made in accordance with this chapter.

(b) All other employees shall be in the unclassified civil service. Appointment to the unclassified civil service shall be made in accordance with the City of Geneva Personnel Policy.
