1462.05 ALTERATIONS OR REPAIRS.

Alterations or repairs to any structure shall conform to that required of a new structure without requiring those portions of the existing structure not being altered or repaired to comply with the requirements of the chapter for new construction, provided, however, that alterations or repairs shall not cause an existing structure to become unsafe or adversely affect the performance of the building.
