(a) Cross-Sections. Street cross-sections for streets with curbs and gutters shall conform to the following table:

Pavement sections for arterial streets shall be determined by the Development Engineer.
Material types shall be as specified in the current edition of The Ohio Department of Transportation Construction and Material Specifications.
(c) Curbs and Gutters. Curbs and gutters shall be installed on all streets, unless the Planning Commission makes a finding that sufficient cause exists for permitting the use of berms and ditch sections in a specific location. Curbs for concrete pavements shall be integral with the pavement and shall be Type 3-A, as detailed on ODOT standard drawing BP-5.1. Curbs for asphalt pavements shall be combination curb and gutter and shall be Type 3, as detailed on ODOT standard drawing BP-5.1.
(d) Berms. Berm material shall conform to ODOT specification 411, crushed limestone. Berms shall be installed with a minimum cross slope of one-half inch per foot.
(e) Underdrains. Underdrains shall be installed, unless specifically waived by the Development Engineer, based upon the results of a qualified soils investigation. Any such investigation shall be the responsibility of the subdivider. Underdrains shall be connected to curb inlets or other drainage structures.
(f) Catch Basins. Catch basins shall be designed and installed in conformance with the City of Geneva standards.
(g) Subgrades. Subgrades shall be inspected and approved by the Development Engineer prior to the placement of any materials. Each material course shall be inspected and approved by the Development Engineer prior to placement of the succeeding course.
The requirement for the sub-base course under pavement may be waived by the Development Engineer based upon the results of a qualified soils investigation.
(h) Sidewalks. Sidewalks shall be provided on both sides of all subdivision streets. Sidewalks shall extend to the curbs at all intersections and shall include provisions for handicap ramps. Unless otherwise approved by the City, sidewalks shall be located with the outside edge one foot inside the right-of-way.
Sidewalks shall be four feet in width and shall be constructed of concrete with a minimum thickness of four inches, except at drive aprons where the concrete shall be six inches thick.
(i) Street Lights. Street lighting shall be installed on all streets. Service for street lighting shall be placed underground. The type and installation of street light poles shall conform to Section 1246.07.
(j) Street Name Signs. The subdivider shall install street signs showing the names of all streets at all street intersections. Said signs shall conform to City standards with regard to materials, mounting, location, height and installation.
