1244.05  PRELIMINARY PLATS; PREPARATION.
   Preliminary plats shall be prepared by a registered surveyor, landscape architect, professional engineer or city planner at a scale of one inch equals 100 feet.  Preliminary plats shall include the following:
   (a)   A vicinity or location map showing the surrounding area within a one-half mile radius of the proposed subdivision.
   (b)   The proposed name of the subdivision.  Subdivision names shall not duplicate others in the County.
   (c)   The names and addresses of the subdivider, owner and professional who prepared the plat.
   (d)   A north arrow, scale and date.
   (e)   The names of all adjoining owners of unplatted land and the subdivision name, plat book and page numbers for adjoining platted property.
   (f)   The location and dimensions of all boundary lines of the property, expressed in feet and decimals of a foot.  Said dimensions may be based upon record information.
   (g)   The current zoning of the property and of the contiguous properties.
   (h)   The location of existing water bodies, streams, drainage ditches, wetlands, flood plains and other pertinent features.
   (i)   The location, width, names and classification of all existing and proposed streets, rights-of-way and easements on and adjacent to the subdivision.  Proposed street names shall not duplicate existing names in the County.
   (j)   Planned public improvements on or near the subdivision.
   (k)   Preliminary proposals for connection to the existing water supply and sanitary sewer systems, including the location and size of existing and proposed water mains and sanitary sewers.  Where utilities must be extended to the site, the direction and distance to existing systems, and sufficient evidence to indicate that said systems can physically service the site, shall be indicated.
   (l)   Topography with a maximum contour interval of two feet or as otherwise directed by the Development Engineer.
   (m)   The approximate location and dimensions of all proposed lots.  Lots shall be numbered consecutively.
   (n)   The location, width and purpose of any easements on the site.
   (o)   An indication of the proposed use of any lot or parcel not divided for building purposes.
   (p)   The proposed use of any lot or parcel not intended exclusively for single-family dwellings.
   (q)   A summary of subdivision data, including the total number of lots, average and minimum lot sizes and the total acreage in streets, parks and other uses.
   (r)   Preliminary provisions for the management of storm runoff.
