856.02 OPERATOR'S LICENSE REQUIRED; APPLICATION; INSPECTION OF VEHICLES.

No person shall operate or cause to be operated a taxicab for hire within the City without first obtaining a license therefor from the City Manager. Prior to the granting of such a license, the applicant therefor shall first make application to the City Manager. The City shall have the right to inspect vehicles, financial records and personnel information of the applicant as a part of the application to operate a taxicab.
