636.02  ASSAULT.
   (a)   No person shall knowingly or recklessly cause or attempt to cause physical harm to another or to another’s unborn.
   (b)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of assault.  Except as provided in Ohio R.C. 2903.13(C), assault is a misdemeanor of the first degree.
