624.11 ADDITIONAL FINES AND PENALTIES IN ALL DRUG CASES; LAW ENFORCEMENT TRUST FUND.

(a) No person shall be prosecuted for a violation of this chapter if the person has been acquitted or convicted under the federal drug abuse control laws of the same act or omission which, it is alleged, constitutes a violation of this chapter.

(b) In addition to other fines and penalties, the sentencing judge may order a driver's license suspension of up to five years.
