The Planning Commission shall:
Prepare the Official Map and a Master Plan for the Municipality, each with appropriate amendments at suitable intervals;
Approve subdivision platting with reference to zoning restrictions and public utilities;
Recommend to Council amendments to the Zoning Plan and Ordinance;
Report to Council, at least annually, on the physical needs of the Municipality;
Prepare a long-term capital improvement program for Council approval and annually submit to the Manager cost estimates on capital improvements which should be included in the annual budget;
Cooperate with the Regional Planning Commission and the Planning Commissions of adjacent municipalities; and
Perform such other duties as may be required by ordinance.
