(A) The village shall have the right to elect to use for park purposes without charge on any land dedicated to the schools under this chapter upon written notice to the school districts affected, provided, and during that period of time, the lands are not then used for school purposes.
(B) School district may terminate the village’s right to use any parcel of land for park purposes by giving the village six months written notice of the school district’s intent to use the land for school purposes at that time.
(C) Upon electing to use the land, village shall furnish evidence of public liability insurance covering the village and school district in an amount equal to that carried by the school district.
