The following fees shall be charged for certificates of registration for solicitors.
(A) All solicitors engaged in any business or activity for profit including but not limited to obtaining purchase order for the sale of goods, wares, merchandise, foodstuffs, any service of any kind, solicitation to obtain prospective customers for application or purchase of insurance and the solicitation to obtain subscriptions to any books, magazines, periodicals and newspapers shall pay a fee in advance of $10 per person per day or $50 per person per week at the time the application for solicitation is submitted to the Village Clerk.
(B) A solicitation of gifts or money or of any material items for the support or benefit of any religious, charitable or non-profit association, organization, corporation or project shall be without fee, provided that all other aspects of this chapter and the provisions hereof shall be complied with.
