§ 9.20.310  FAILURE TO ABATE NUISANCE; ACTION BY VILLAGE.
   If the person so served with a notice as set forth in § 9.20.305 does not abate the nuisance within five days after the notice, the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety shall cause the summary abatement of the nuisance. Summary abatement may be caused by the employment of private contractors or the use of the village equipment and personnel. If private contractors are utilized for this purpose, the Commission of Public Health and Safety shall keep an account of the expense thereof, and the expense shall be charged to and paid by the owner or occupant. If the village’s equipment and personnel are utilized, the Commissioner of Public Health and Safety shall keep an account of the expense thereof, with minimum charge of $35 per hour for labor and an additional charge for any village equipment which is used. The expense shall be charged to and paid by the owner or occupant.
