§ 5.05.030  RECORDS; BOOKS ON ACCOUNT.
   (A)   Village Clerk. The Village Clerk shall receive from the Maintenance Superintendent the data as may be necessary for the operation and maintenance records of the combined waterworks and sewerage system, including periodic meter readings. The Clerk shall cause monthly billings to be made to the users of the system and shall receipt and account for applications for service and disconnection, including any fees levied therefore under this title. All fees and service charges shall be forwarded to the Village Treasurer for disposition under this title.
   (B)   Village Treasurer. The Village Treasurer shall keep or cause to be kept full and complete books of accounts separate and apart from any other records of his or her office showing in detail all monies received by him or her for the combined Waterworks and Sewerage Department with dates and sources. He or she shall maintain a separate sewer and water fund for the deposit of funds received in connection with the operation of the system. He or she shall keep or cause to be kept such other books and records relating to the combined waterworks and sewerage system as the Village Council may from time to time direct, and in accordance with the Illinois Municipal Code then in force.
