§ 3.05.400  STOP ORDER.
   (A)   The Building Inspector shall have the power to order all work stopped on construction or alteration or repair of buildings in the village when the work is being done in violation of any provision of any ordinance relating thereto, or in violation of any zoning ordinance.
   (B)   Work shall not be resumed after the issuance of such an order, except on the written permission of the Inspector; provided, that if the stop order is an oral one, it shall be followed by an written stop order within 24 hours.
   (C)   The written stop order may be served by any Village Inspector, the Mayor, any Commissioner or any Police Officer, except that any the stop work order shall not be removed by any person other than the person who issued the stop work order.
