§ 110.13 DEALERS IN PRECIOUS ITEMS; REGISTRATION.
   A dealer in the business of receiving and buying gold, silver, platinum, gems, jewelry, and other precious items shall not conduct business in the city unless the dealer has obtained a valid certificate of registration from the Department of Police, and by paying a one-time only registration fee in the amount, charged in accordance with the Comprehensive Fee Schedule in Chapter 12 of this Code, to cover the reasonable cost of processing and issuing the certificate of registration as prescribed by state law.
