§ 52.084 PROCEDURE WHEN WATER IS OBTAINED PARTIALLY OR WHOLLY FROM SOURCES OTHER THAN THE TOWN WATER WORKS.
In the event a user obtains water partially or wholly from sources other than the town waterworks, the total water used must be measured or determined as provided in §§ 52.041 or 52.058, or by other reasonable means as the Town Council may direct. In the case of a single-family household having a private well but no town water supply, the sewer flow charge shall be for 2,700 gallons per month, unless a meter is installed on the well at the request of either the user or the town, in which case the cost of installation will be paid for by the user and the meter will be provided by the town. The installation of any such meter shall be approved by the town.
