§ 72.08 REGISTRATION AND INSPECTION.
   (A)   Each owner of a golf cart operated on the streets or alleys in the town shall:
      (1)   Annually complete an application for submission to the Town Police Department;
      (2)   Provide proof of insurance to the town; and
      (3)   Pay a registration fee of $25 which shall be deposited into the LECE (233-225) Golf Cart Permit Fund in accordance with I.C. 5-2-8-2.
   (B)   Annual inspections and renewals must be done by May 15 each year. The annual renewal and inspection fee of $15 will be due at the time of the annual renewal and inspection and shall be deposited into the LECE (233-225) Golf Cart Permit Fund in accordance with I.C. 5-2-8-2.
   (C)   The town shall provide to the owner of a registered golf cart a decal, which shall be affixed to the front of the golf cart where it can be easily seen. Decal shall display the month and year of expiration of registration and an assigned number for registration purposes.
