ADOPTED ORDINANCE

ORDINANCE NO. C2006-11

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF GALLUP, NEW MEXICO ADOPTING THE 2006 CODIFICATION OF THE CITY OF GALLUP ORDINANCES.

   WHEREAS, the city code of the city of Gallup was last codified in 1961; and,

   WHEREAS, numerous changes have been made to the city code since 1961; and,

   WHEREAS, city staff has worked with the previous codifiers to completely update and modernize the code book of the city of Gallup; and,

   WHEREAS, those changes, amendments and re-codification is now complete and ready for adoption by the city of Gallup;

   NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GALLUP, NEW MEXICO, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:

   The 2006 codification of the city code of the Gallup, New Mexico, is hereby adopted.

   All city ordinances set out in the 2006 codification supersede provisions of the city code previously enacted by the city council to the extent that they are in conflict or inconsistent with those adopted by the 2006 codification.
