A. Established: In addition to the fee and deposit set forth in section 9-4-3 of this chapter, the permit fee shall be paid for in cash at the time the permit is issued and shall be in accordance with the moving fee set forth as follows:
Less than 200 square feet | $ 5.00 |
More than 200 square feet, less than 500 square feet | 10.00 |
More than 500 square feet less than 1,000 square feet | 15.00 |
More than 1,000 square feet, less than 1,500 square feet | 20.00 |
More than 1,500 square feet, less than 2,000 square feet | 25.00 |
More than 2,000 square feet per 100 square feet | 2.50 |
B. Fees Doubled: Where work for which a permit is required by this chapter is started or proceeded with prior to obtaining the permit, the fees above specified shall be doubled, but the payment of such double fee shall not relieve any person from fully complying with the requirements of this chapter.
C. Receipt Issued: It shall be the duty of the city clerk to issue an official receipt for all fees received under this chapter, and to indicate on such receipt the purpose for which each amount is collected. (Ord. C66-143, 7-13-1976)
