It is unlawful for any person to make or cause to be made any splice or tap to or connection of any kind with any cable, wire, pipe or other service line or property of any utility operated by the city or of any person operating in the streets, alleys and other public ways of the city under franchise or other authority granted by the city without first obtaining the consent of such utility, person, firm or corporation. Each day such unlawful splice, tap or connection exists shall be a separate offense. (Ord. C66-194, 3-9-1982)
