The city council finds and determines:
A. The temporary failure of alarm systems, or an excessive number of accidental alarm activations, poses a burden to the fire department, police and emergency dispatch services.
B. The occurrence of false alarm poses a nuisance to the public in the form of noise, flashing lights, disturbances of the peace and the burdening of public safety and fire services. (Ord. C97-4, 6-10-1997, eff. 7-18-1997)
