(A) No person shall engage as an electrical contractor within the corporate limits until an electrical contractor’s license has been issued. A license issued in accordance with the provisions of this subchapter shall entitle the person to engage as an electrical contractor.
(B) No person granted a license under the provisions of this subchapter shall install or repair electrical equipment for light, heat or power purposes after the expiration of the license or after the license shall have been revoked as herein provided, unless the license or renewal of same have been received as herein provided.
(C) Electricians employed by a licensed electrical contractor to do or supervise electrical work shall not be required to be licensed.
