§ 32.049 ELECTION OF OFFICERS.

   (A)   Pursuant to ILCS Ch. 65, Act 5, § 11-10-2, the election of officers of the Fire Department shall be as hereinafter set forth. The officers so elected shall be collectively designated as the Foreign Fire Insurance Board.

   (B)   For the purpose of §§ 32.049 through 32.057, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.

      BOARD. The Foreign Fire Insurance Board.

      DEPARTMENT. The City Fire Department.

      FUND. The Foreign Fire Insurance Tax Fund.

      MEMBERS OF THE DEPARTMENT. Any person currently employed by the Fire Department in the following ranks: firefighter, Fire Captain, Battalion Chief, Assistant Fire Chief and Fire Chief.

      TEMPORARY ELECTION COMMITTEE. The Fire Department Election Committee.
