§ 112.41 STANDARDS OF ISSUANCE.

   (A)   No more than 48 taxicab permits shall be issued unless, after a public hearing, the City Council shall determine that the public convenience and necessity require additional taxicab service.

   (B)   No permit shall be issued for any vehicle which does not have affixed a current city vehicle tax sticker.

   (C)   No permit shall be issued for any vehicle which has not passed the safety test prescribed by § 112.05, nor shall any vehicle be operated as a taxicab unless the certificate required by § 112.05 has been filed with the Chief of Police as therein called for.
