(A) No person within the corporate limits of the city shall engage in the business of selling or exchanging any firearm capable of being concealed on the person, including weapons of the type generally described as pistols, which discharge a projectile by means of compressed air, without first obtaining a license therefor as hereinafter provided.
(B) A license to engage in the business of selling or exchanging these weapons shall be issued by the City Clerk upon proper application being made therefor and the payment to him or her of a license fee of $160 per year.
