§ 72.26 PARKING DURING SNOW EMERGENCIES.
   No person shall park a vehicle, except when necessary to avoid conflict with other traffic or in compliance with the direction of a police officer or traffic-control device, on any street within the corporate limits of the city except those streets listed in Appendix W adopted by reference in Chapter 77 and also excepting Prairie Street and Seminary Street, from Ferris to Water Street, during an announced snow emergency, being a 12-hour period commencing at the time when two inches of snow has accumulated on the street surface or until the street has been completely plowed. Each day during part of which the vehicle remains parked in violation hereof, after being ticketed for the first time, shall constitute a separate offense. In addition, any vehicle parked in violation of this section may be towed away.
