§ 51.011 EMERGENCY CONSERVATION OF WATER.
   Whenever the water level in the Main Street Reservoir falls below 15 feet, the Mayor or City Manager is hereby authorized to issue a proclamation stating that an extraordinary water supply emergency exists. This proclamation shall be published one time in the Galesburg Register-Mail. Upon issuance of the proclamation, it shall be unlawful to make use of city water for the following purposes: lawn sprinkling, washing streets, washing driveways or walks, filling swimming pools, watering vegetable or flower gardens, watering trees or shrubs, use of air-conditioning equipment requiring water, washing of motor vehicles and wasteful use of water.
